Youth Flag Football

Registration Dates: May 22, 2024 - July 1st, 2024
Estimated Start Date: August 19th, 2024
Ages: 4 yrs old - 11yrs old (age as of June 30, 2024)
Cost:  $75 for those who live in the Saltillo city limits
           $85 for Saltillo School District (non-city limit residents)
           $95 for those living outside the city limits and the Saltillo School District 


As of 1/1/2024, all Saltillo Parks and Recreation teams will be computer generated. Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches will get their own children but all other players will be placed by the system. This policy is being put in place to help make teams as even as possible so that our athletes have a fun, competitive and growing season.

Weather Policy

The decision as to whether fields are playable rests with the Saltillo Parks and Rec Staff.

No outdoor practice or game shall begin with a STORM WARNING (Thunderstorm/Tornado) in effect at the start time of said practice/game.

Mandatory 30 minute wait when lightning is in the area. Fields must be cleared. A staff member from Saltillo Parks and Rec will give the go ahead when play or practice can resume. 

Volunteer Opportunities

HEAD COACHES
Volunteer coaches are needed for every team. Please consider volunteering as a Head Coach when registering your child. 

Head Coaches are asked to attend a coaches meeting before the season starts and will receive the team roster, practice schedule information, uniform order form, and other important league information. Criminal Background Check Required

ASSISTANT COACHES
We are also in need parents that are willing to be assistant coaches out of goodwill for their kids team.

TEAM SPONSORS
